DESCRIPTION
A user interface project to collect feedback from users preparing for their exams using the ExamReviews tool
We had not previously collected student feedback on individual products, and usage data could only show part of the picture. To gather more qualitative feedback, we decided a mechanism requesting student feedback based on their exams interactions would be fruitful.
A simple flow digram illustrating where the feedback would be required and what the trigger points would be.
Hand-drawn sketches of the feedback modal
Inspiration for feedback design
First: Feedback given during the exam review
Second: Feedback gathered two to three days after users had taken an exam review
I had wanted to gather student feedback via email and text as well. However, I needed the team to implement this. Unfortunately, I didn't communicate early enough for the team to accomplish this.
Having a feedback system in place is helpful, but we didn't really think about how to incorporate that feedback into our decision-making process for which features to build. This was a huge insight, which I wish I had addressed earlier to ensure that the project improved our decision-making process.
