Interaction Maps

This is an entry for one of the class SI 622: Needs Assessment and Usability Testing, our client for the project is JSTOR and we are analyzing their Register & Read Product. The following picture is a snapshot of the Interaction map and the various functions a user can do. You can view the complete PDF here.

Interaction Map for JSTOR's register and read

The interaction map allows us to see the number of clicks/steps a user must take to complete a certain function and this can help us understand the complexity of the system. Our analysis showed that there are multiple breakpoint in the system which might distract the use from completing a certain function of searching for bookings and reading them. The map has been made using Sketchapp.

This project was a team project with Mathias, Bess and Jason Lam.
